In historic downtown Louisville, Kentucky there rests a smokehouse by the name of Doc Crow’s. As you would expect from a restaurant on Whiskey Row, they showcase one of the largest selections of America’s favorite spirits; whiskey and bourbon. Tonight’s cocktail recipe was created by the restaurant’s Raw Bar manager, Jacquelyn Zykan. The Bourbini is a sinfully delicious drink sure to seduce even the most dedicated wine drinker. It’d the perfect way to send off old man winter and toast Spring!
1 oz bourbon (Heaven Hill 6 year bourbon)
2 dashes peach bitters
1/2 oz peach liqueur (Mathilde Peche)
Pour bourbon, bitters, and peach liqueur into a shaker over ice. Shake then strain into a flute glass. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with mint sprig
